Tuppence, is a 2-year old Cockapoo, living in Fairfax, Virginia. Her friendly disposition, boundless energy and heart full of love make her a joy to be around. 'Tuppy' enjoys playing fetch, chasing delivery drivers, and will sit for treats. She loves people, especially kids! Her gentle demeanor makes her the perfect playmate for little ones. 'Tuppy' loves to snuggle up, but watch out for surprise kisses! This happy pup exudes an aura of warmth and charm, capturing hearts with every tail-wag. Her mom and dad believe she is the “Cutest Dog in Washington!”

This photo-bombing, quizzical, fabulous pup has been my precious shadow for the last 10 years. Rescued as a puppy, Cannoli has the most interesting, varied lineage and spunky personality, which makes her absolutely one of a kind and perfect in every way. Cannoli loves treats, giving kisses, sunbathing, and cool breezes, but has an abject horror of hiccups. Always dressed to the nines, with her perfectly placed eyeshadow and expressive, radar ears, she is, to me, the epitome of cuteness.

My name is Kilo. In 2017, when I met my family, I weighed one Kilogram, hence the name "Kilo." I may be small for a Shih Tzu, but I have a large personality! I love going on long walks and snuggling with my family. When I want to try some of my favorite human food or if I need help getting into bed at night, I use my loud bark to let them know. I love going on car rides, visiting new places, and I especially enjoy meeting new people because they always tell me how cute I am.

Teddy Bear is an old soul. On August 26, 2023 he celebrated his 17th Birthday. We rescued him September, 2019 from VIP Rescue Central Florida. Over the years he has had many medical issues, cateract surgery, allergies, and a severe heart condition. But, with the best medical care that we could find in Central Florida he is still alive and living a wonderful life of retirement. Recently he has developed a bad eye ulcer/infection in his left eye and sadly to say he is blind in that eye. But last year we rescued Nicki and Crystal to join the pack and he has developed a close bond with his new brother and sister. Over the years he has brought so much joy and happiness to our family. He loves to take walks in the neighborhood, and takes long naps on the cool tile floor in the house. We want to make his remaining years as comfortable as we can. He loves a good belly rub and he is a very good eater. All said, Teddy Bear is a very happy Bichon Frise but most of all he has enriched our lives with the joy of having him in our family.

My family, my life, my Milo. He comes from Fox Terrier royalty- both parents are Champions and he could probably win awards but he is family to me not a show dog. Not that I have anything again show dogs but it is a tough life for both owners and dogs. Milo has a larger than life personality. He is funny, smart as a whip, playful, energetic, friendly and so affectionate. He loves life and all that is has to offer and to him that means doggie daycare, dog park, sleeping, walking with his pack of friends in the neighborhood and just chilling out with his Mom- me. He has added so much to my life that I can't imagine my life with out him. I hope you like this picture as it really captures his good looks and soulful expression. I have a friend who says he looks like a "deep thinker". I think he is

Callie is just over a year and a half and has brought constant joy to our lives! She absolutely adores being in the water and there’s not a creek around here she hasn’t gotten muddy in! She is a yellow lab, after all. She is aptly nicknamed “Flop” in our neighborhood because whenever she sees another dog in her sights, she promptly lays down and doesn’t move until she gets to say hello! If she could stay at doggy daycare forever, I think she would probably take them up on it. She loves being outside to soak up the sun and most days it’s hard to get her back inside-even if treats are involved! When she does finally settle down she is the best couch companion; as long as you don’t want any of the pillows to lay on. She requires one to hold her head up and one to lay on for the maximum amount of comfort. If there’s a blanket that can be added to the mix, she’d appreciate that too. We’d happily give up all of our comfy pillows (and sanity and sleep!) for Callie who keeps us smiling every single day. We love you, Callie!

Nothing to see here, just a gal trying to hydrate on a hot summer day and blessing everyone with a lick and a wag. Please allow me to introduce you to Pippa. She is every bit as cute and silly as this photo implies. We hope you consider her one of Washington’s cutest dogs, her family certainly does. Sincerely, The Jaegers

Meet our lovable Lola. She’s an Australian Shepherd and Cocker Spaniel mix, with a surprising hint of Great Pyrenees and Chihuahua in her lineage, sporting the most fabulous set of eyebrows you've ever seen. But Lola isn't all about looks; she's also a cuddle enthusiast who is very in tune with human emotions.

Truman (AKA Trudy) Hicks is a sassy, 70 pound black and tan coonhound beagle mix rescue. She's 12 years old and is highly motivated by food, but still has a zest for life that scares all the squirrels away. Named after Harry Truman by her loving history teacher father, she's been called many names, including Trudy, Truey, princess, baby, and HEY STOP TRYING TO EAT THE MAIL MAN. Rescued from a shelter in Georgia, she's traveled the country, but her favorite place is by far her family's cottage in northern Michigan (although she hates the ten-hour drive). She loves running through the woods, napping in the sun, and smelling skunks' butts. She currently takes steroids and a plethora of vitamins, but she doesn't mind because she gets to eat at least a tablespoon of peanut butter every morning. She would adore the chance to share her story and speak for all the senior dogs out there who are still just as frisky and silly as a week-old puppy.

Hi! I’m Koa, a 6.5 year old Bernese Mountain Dog from Alexandria, Virginia. I love all kinds of food, but I have a special place in my heart for pizza and have been known to sneak a bite from time to time. I recently had knee surgery and am one-third through my 12 week recovery. To pass the time I take long naps, hang with my best friend Bodhi - a 3.5 year old English Mastiff - and go on stroller walks with my parents around town (aka me being pushed in a pet stroller so there’s no strenuous walking for me. It’s fabulous!) If you see me around Alexandria, please say hello.

People call me Miss Zoey Monroe because I have so much personality. My smile is as good as it gets (with my two canines)! After my spa grooming days, I love to strut in my clothes for the world to see. Big personality indeed! Even though the humans say I am rough and tumble because I believe I'm a big dog, they enjoy our snuggles, me taking over furry blankets, playing chase with my favorite toy (balls, balls everywhere), and my loud snores. I loving representing all the bulldogs out there to show the world we are the BEST! Age: 3.5 years Breed: English Bulldog Weight: 50 lbs.

Ten years old and still full of energy, George is a bulldog-basset hound mix; aka a Bully Basset. George lives in NE Washington DC in a high rise complex where he gets lots of attention from the fellow residents. Known as the “Brad Pitt of the Building” at his former residence, George is quite the schmoozer, friendly as can be. Getting along equally well with other pets, George enjoys strolling along his area of H Street and loves heading to Union Market. Of course he makes plenty of stops to sniff out his surroundings and take in all the sights of the area. An afternoon nap in his cozy bed is a favorite part of his day. Undoubtedly, his treats and snacks are a close second. George couldn’t even imagine living anywhere other than D.C.

Ava Simba McCranie is a German Toy Pomeranian. She was brought by breeders from Russia to US during COVID.Unfortunately for them she was not able to complete her mission of reproduction and was rehomed to us. And since February 4th this year, we are happy owners of this gentle, lovely and absolutely adorable little girl(her weight is only 5.8 lb).Due to her issues with alopecia, she has to wear clothes(we made sure she has a great selection to choose from for all occasions), but she hates it, and at home we allow her to be herself as we love her so much with or without hairs. Ava's mission is to bring smiles to people's faces, as it happens every time anyone sees her. Viva Ava!

Happee is an 11 year old beagle living in North Potomac, MD. He LOVES to eat, cuddle, and bark at squirrels and deer in the backyard. Happee is a total sweet potato - he is very gentle and friendly, he even “works” as a therapy dog at his dad’s dental office. He is a natural at his job, flashing his perfect smile, putting smiles on all the patients' faces. Happee always wants to be the best version of himself emotionally and physically. After having been called chubby for his whole life, he recently embarked on a journey to lose some excess weight and has successfully shed off almost 8lbs in less than a year. This is a picture of Happee at his sister's house last Christmas. Happee is the greatest blessing in our lives and will always be the best gift under the tree!
